Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Came to ER on 7/19 with no energy and feeling horrible. Didn't wait long til I was seen. They ran tests and quickly determined 3 issues that needed addressing. I stayed on the 3rd floor for 5 days. Everyone at that hospital was incredible, from the ER staff to all of the nurses, CNAs, etc. Thank you for getting the spot on diagnoses and for getting me better. GCMC, you rock!

Iβm honestly shocked by the poor reviews I see on here because this was one of the cleanest most efficient hospitals Iβve been to. The nurses were warm, friendly and caring. They handled my concerns with a sense of urgency. I had Stephan Lozier as my PA and he showed the same amount of warmth and empathy. I had actually boomeranged to this hospital after leaving Capeβ¦. After leaving Cape I felt worse.. and desperate for a solution. I went to a clinic for a temporary solutionβ¦. Then I went to Gulf Coast and 4 hours later, after EXTENSIVE testingβ I walked out feeling like I could cartwheel. Wow, what a difference!!! Thank you for the IVβ that was exactly what I needed to be able to hold down medicine and foodβ¦ I made an appointment with my primary as the doctor recommended for further testing. I understand ERs donβt offer solutions but youβd be amazed how much relief an IV and anti nausea medication that works brought. Thank you so much to all of the staff in Gulf Coast for making a difficult experience easier for meβ¦ I have a phobia of hospitals. Initially I had hesitations and at the end of it I had a comforting feeling about the hospital.

It would be 5 stars if it wasnβt for Dr. Sabha as my hospitalist. I went there via ambulance with terrible enteritis, howling pain and unable to eat or drink. This was due to cancer treatment, the radiation in pelvic area. All of the care I received from the ER to the staff on 6th floor was great. From the nurses to the cna βs/paβs, they took excellent care of me. Kind, compassionate, professional people who made a really bad situation better. Unfortunately I have had hospital stays that were not good and as anyone who is forced to be in one the people who care for you can make all the difference. Iβm so thankful and grateful to all of the people who cared for me, less Dr. Sabha who was my hospitalist. He should not have any license to care for anyone. Dr. Parsa stepped in and made sure I received the right medication to keep me alive. The nursing staff and all the secondary care providers were just wonderful. Thanks to all of them!

I have no idea while this hospital got so many horrible reviews. I was in for 2 1/2 days and was treated in the most professional way possible. The nurses on the third floor were absolutely fantastic. I hope you know that these people deal with people at their worst each and every day, and even though itβs their chosen profession, they are still human beings with their own lives and problems and yet are super kind and caring. Took me about 1 hour to get to the back. Know why it took an hour? I have no idea, but I do know ambulances were coming in the back doors, helicopters were landing. I trust they know how to triage and take the people on an importance level. Maybe a sprained ankle sits longer than a guy with a heart attack. I bet the guy having the heart attack is happy he jumped the line. This is a private facility and they HAVE to take you, but you can go elsewhere and I bet they would prefer the ones who canβt understand triage would go elsewhere. I havenβt seen a person here with any type malice or mean spirit at all. Some have better personalities than others, but thatβs preference. Maybe stop and think before writing a nasty review. They are just as human a

I want to offer just a quick note of appreciation, for a remarkable employee. Although I find the entire staff at Gulf Coast to be helpful and courteous, I especially want to call out Melanie, who always greets me with a welcoming smile and prompt attention. At a time when we are reduced to pre-recorded messages and outsourced customer service it is refreshing to associate with an extremely competent and genuine professional. They say first impressions are important, so having Melanie at the front desk is genius. I look forward every Friday morning to her prompt attention, warm regards and seamless processing of the always busy line of family friends, visitors and volunteers. Please extend my sincere thanks to her for a job well done! Gulf Coast is very fortunate to employ someone like Melanie, who proudly represents the quality, service and passion people expect in a healthcare environment.
